Faculty
Mr. Grieser is a Fellow of Literature and coordinator of the College's senior-year, team-taught, integrated humanities course, Traditio Occidentis. He and Mr. Nathan Wilson team-teach the freshman Classical Rhetoric Colloquium. Mr. Grieser joined the College faculty in 2007 after pursuing his M.A. (2003) and doctoral studies in literature at the University of Dallas. He has completed all but his dissertation (ABD) on the poetry and perspectives of George Herbert. He received his B.A. in Liberal Arts and Culture, Cum Laude, from New Saint Andrews College in May 2002. At the request of the administration and faculty of the College, Mr. Grieser represented the Class of 2002 and delivered the student address at the College's Fifth Commencement. Mr. Grieser’s senior thesis was entitled, “Jerusalem Owns Athens: Early Church Fathers on Classical Education.” Mr. Grieser and wife Hannah have four sons.
