Wordsmithy writer's workshop Aug. 2-4
Books and Culture Editor and Christianity Today Editor-at-Large John Wilson will join best-selling author and New Saint Andrews College Fellow of Literature N.D. Wilson, New Saint Andrews College Senior Fellow and prolific author Douglas Wilson, and Poet and Literary Agent Aaron Rench on the faculty of the 2012 Wordsmithy writer's workshop at New Saint Andrews August 2-4 in Moscow, Idaho.

Registration for the 2012 Wordsmithy opens May 1, 2012. Aspiring writers are invited to immerse themselves in a weekend of writing instruction and interaction. Last year’s Wordsmithy sold out and waiting lists formed. The $420 workshop fee includes meals. An optional writing critique by a New York publishing house editor will be available. NSA named among Top 20 colleges and universities in the Mountain States
When you think of the Top 20 Colleges and Universities in the Mountain States, some schools immediately come to mind. Do you think NSA made the list? NSA tuition is lowest among "Best Colleges for Homeschoolers"
In its online ranking of colleges and universities, SuperScholar.org recently named New Saint Andrews College among the nation’s “Best Colleges for Homeschoolers.” In a comparison of tuition prices of the colleges listed in the ranking, New Saint Andrews’s $10,400 price tag is the lowest of all. Classical Christian Studies graduate program attracts increased interest

The college's Classical Christian Studies graduate program is designed to equip a new generation of educator for the growing classical Christian education revival. The 32-credit M.St. degree can be accomplished in two and a half years and only requires three trips to campus. The year-round low-residency approach is friendly to the working educator's busy schedule. No prior Latin is required. For more information on the graduate programs at NSA, click here. NSA Fellow of Classical Languages Timothy Griffith is among the faculty involved in the college's Classical Christian Studies graduate program. Griffith teaches courses in Latin vocabulary, grammar, composition, and conversation.

Next Prospective Student Weekend starts March 30

The next Prospective Student Weekend at New Saint Andrews College is set for March 30 - April 2. That also coincides with the student's annual "Andies Talent Show" and a dance. 2012 Commencement to honor biggest class of grads ever

A record number of graduates will collect their diplomas and celebrate the completion of their academic goals at New Saint Andrews College on Thursday, May 10. A total of 49 students will graduate. That includes 33 BA, 11 AA , 3 MSt. and 2 MA degrees. The ceremony will take place at the Moscow Church of the Nazarene and start at 7:00 pm.

Faculty Profile
A Senior Fellow of Classical and Biblical Languages, John Schwandt is an internationally recognized Greek Scholar. Aside from teaching Greek at NSA, he is the founder of the Institute of Biblical Greek and creator of the National Biblical Greek Exam, an online examination program. He and his wife, Tabithah, have three sons and one daughter.
