Scholarships

and Student Loans

To protect the religious integrity and freedom of our Christian institution, the College does not participate, on principle, with any government-sponsored financial aid programs. Instead, a private scholarship organization is available to provide assistance to needy and deserving students. Students may also apply for private student loans through the links at the bottom of the page.

All students seeking any type of financial assistance should begin with the scholarship application listed below. While a limited number of scholarship requests for the graduate program may be considered, most of the listed scholarships apply to the undergraduate program only.

Initial scholarship application deadline is March 1. Late applications will be considered if funds are available.

The College uses the CSS Profile through College Board to process all needs-based financial requests. For that scholarship, click here, and use code 3855, or search for New Saint Andrews College by name.

All returning students will also need to send us a letter of recommendation from a local community member.

General Scholarships

A total of $3,000 is available for incoming students from the general scholarship options.

Merit Scholarships

Other Scholarships

Each year as funds permit, other scholarships may be available to students, such as the NSA Board Scholarship, the Saint Gregory Scholarship for children of ordained ministers in the CREC, and the Legacy Scholarship for children of New Saint Andrews Alumni.

Need-Based Scholarships and Grants

The College endeavors, as its financial resources allow, to assist any student who has significant financial need. Students who may be unable to continue their studies at New Saint Andrews because of limited finances should contact the College’s Bursar at bursar@nsa.edu. Awards may include direct aid, revised tuition agreements and payment schedules.

Outside Scholarships

The College is happy to accept any scholarships coming from outside sources as long as they are not federally funded. These scholarships are typically received as payments on a student’s tuition account.

Private Student Loans

Though New Saint Andrews College strives to keep the tuition rate affordable, private student loans for both undergraduate and graduate students are available through Sallie Mae Bank here. Frequently asked questions regarding the Sallie Mae Undergraduate Smart Option Student Loan can be found here.
