Disputatio this week is a three minute thesis contest. Seniors will have three minutes to present on their completed theses and will be competing for Bucer's gift cards. But more importantly, they will be showcasing their powers of persuasion and concision. The audience will vote to select first, second, and third place.Those in the competition and their topics are as follows:

Joshua Clemens, Chesterton and Don Quixote
Valerie Foucachon, Marguerite de Navarre
Garrett Treece, Dostoevsky's Notes from Underground
Medora Allison, The Politics of Corpses
Christiana Hale, The Space Trilogy of C.S. Lewis
Samuel Taylor, Interpreting Ecclesiastes
Sam Paul, The Economics of Human Capital Theory

The short presentations will be followed by a roundtable/question and answer segment. Disputatio meets at 3:00 at the Nuart on Main Street every Friday during the academic term. It is free and open to the public.
