Scholarships

Financial Aid

To protect our Christian institution's religious integrity and freedom, the college does not participate, on principle, with any government-sponsored financial aid programs.

Instead, a private scholarship organization is available to provide assistance to needy and deserving students. Students may also apply for private student loans through the links at the bottom of the page.

All students seeking any type of financial assistance should begin by reviewing available scholarships listed below. While a limited number of scholarship requests for the graduate program may be considered, most of the listed scholarships apply to the undergraduate program only.

Initial scholarship application deadline is February 1. Late applications will be considered if funds are available. Applicants will be notified of awards on March 1, 2025.

General Scholarships

A total of $3,000 is available for qualifying students from the general scholarship options. All financial aid offers are dependent on eligibility.  Any change in eligibility may affect your offer. Upon withdrawal or expulsion, any institutional scholarships and grants the student has received will first be retracted, and the student will be liable for the full tuition bill as if he had not received any assistance.

Need-Based Financial Aid & Grants

As its financial resources allow, the college endeavors to assist any student with significant financial need.

To be considered for need-based financial aid and grants, complete all three steps below:

The initial scholarship application deadline is February 1. Late applications will be considered if funds are available. Applicants will be notified of awards on March 1, 2025.

Work-Study Program

New Saint Andrews College does not participate in the Federal work-study program. However, like many colleges, we offer an institutional work-study program for students willing to work hard. We give preference to those with financial needs, but we try to accommodate as many hard-working students as openings and budgets will allow. Students will be paid a competitive hourly wage for a prearranged number of hours per week, up to the maximum allowed by law. To apply for the Work-Study Program, please complete an application for need-based financial aid.

Read the Work Study Applicant FAQ's.

Outside Scholarships

The college is happy to accept any scholarships coming from outside sources as long as they are not federally funded. These scholarships are typically received as payments on a student’s tuition account.

Private Student Loans

Though New Saint Andrews College strives to keep tuition affordable, private student loans for undergraduate and graduate students are available through lenders such as Sallie Mae Bank or Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority (MEFA). Frequently asked questions regarding the Sallie Mae Undergraduate Smart Option Student Loan can be found here, and (MEFA) can be found here.
