Called Conference 2024 Recap

Called Conference 2024 was a resounding success! This year, we saw our highest attendance ever, with 150 kids coming for Week 1 and 142 for Week 2. Furthermore, many kids were attending Called for the first time: something like seventy-five percent of the kids during Week 2 were new to Called Conference, which is incredible. Called Conference 2024 stands out from previous years; with a new schedule, new games and activities, and new speakers and workshop leaders, the kids attending Called experienced it like never before. Every indication suggested that the kids had a fantastic time and were encouraged, challenged, and equipped through the various talks and activities. \ \ Called 2024 will always be remembered, though, for its glorious end: the CloudStrike shutdown. The historic IT failure on Friday, July 19 prevented well over a dozen Called attendees from flying home at the end of the week. Those kids enjoyed a few extra days here in Moscow, getting a real taste for the hospitality of the local church body. Between the normal programming of Called Conference, as well as the two-to-three-day extension for the stranded kids, God's grace was put on full display through countless daily graces and answered prayers.
