Called Conference 2023, organized by New Saint Andrews College, recently concluded on July 22. This boot camp aimed at high school students focuses on empowering them to live their faith with courage and knowledge. The week-long event was filled with insightful speakers, workshops, team games, and other engaging activities. This year Pastor Uri Brito was the special guest speaker. Pastor Brito serves as the Senior Pastor of Providence Church in Florida. He was born in Northeastern Brazil and has lived in the United States for over 25 years.

During this year's Called Conference, a total of 273 students attended over the course of two weeks. In Week One, 151 high school students were present, while Week Two saw the attendance of 122 students. These students hailed from 24 states across America and five different countries.

According to conference coordinator Iain Anderson, the conference was a huge success. He specifically commended Pastor Brito for his valuable contributions and involvement in the conference. Mr. Anderson said, “Not only were his keynote talks outstanding, but he also gave a substantial amount of time outside of these to being involved with the kids who attended: talking with them, sitting with them at meals, and even participating in some projects and competitions.” Pastor Brito's investment in the students at the conference made it one of the best yet.

During the conference, Pastor Brito gave several talks to the students on the armor of God in Ephesians 6. To watch the talks go to our YouTube channel. A big thank you to Pastor Brito for his work in shaping these students into a robust Christian worldview.
