Announcing NSA Commencement 2026

with special guest speaker, Brooks Potteiger

As the final term of the academic year draws to a close, New Saint Andrews prepares once again to mark a moment of great significance; the graduation of another class of students ready to take up their callings in shaping culture.

We are honored to welcome Pastor Brooks Potteiger as the 2026 Commencement Speaker.

The grandson of African missionaries, Pastor Potteiger has faithfully served Christ’s Church from Florida to California, and now in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. He is set to become the first pastor of Christ Church in Washington D.C. in the near future. He is an ordained minister in the CREC and holds Master’s degrees in Christian Apologetics and in Pastoral Care and Counseling. He is a man of wide-ranging interests; enjoying live-edge woodworking, photography, the poetry of George Herbert, the sturdy theology of the Puritans, the creative destruction of a chainsaw, and the deep, resounding laughter that so often accompanies G.K. Chesterton among friends.

Commencement at NSA is not merely a celebration, it is a charge.

Graduation marks not an end, but a beginning. Students leave as graduates bearing a weightier calling than when they first arrived. What they have received is no small gift. The faculty, consisting of distinguished scholars and teachers, have poured into them for years, laboring to form not only minds, but souls. The standard has been set high. Now, it must be taken up.

The Graduate Rite serves as both reminder and warning: to whom much is given, much will be required. This education is not to be buried or hoarded. It must be shared—freely, joyfully, and faithfully.

This is what students have been trained to do: to shape and build godly cultures in the service of Christ who is Lord over all things. They study the ancient world—its ideas, literature, and practices—not as antiquarians, but as apprentices. They learn from its triumphs and failures in order to employ truth, beauty, and goodness as instruments for reformation. In building godly cultures, they participate in the coming of Christ’s kingdom— establishing it on earth as it is in heaven.

Join us as we celebrate the graduates and the calling set before them at this year’s Commencement.

Omni cui multum datum est, multum quaeretur ab eo.
To whom much is given, much will be required.
