Dr. J. Cade Marcotte
Cade Marcotte is a Junior Fellow of Natural Philosophy at New Saint Andrews College, where he teaches the Physics Colloquium. His primary interests lie in philosophy of physics, especially on the foundational concepts of statistical mechanics and the nature of time. He is currently polishing off a dissertation on these topics in pursuit of a Ph.D. at Indiana University, Bloomington, from where he also holds an M.A. in History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine. In addition, he has an M.A. in Philosophy from Western Michigan University and a B.A. from New Saint Andrews College. Prior to his studies, he spent six years in the United States Army. He and his wife, Sarah, have seven children.
