Lecturer of Languages

Caleb Harris

Mr. Harris teaches classical Latin across all levels, including Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Latin. He earned his B.A. from New Saint Andrews College with high honors in 2019, after which he enrolled in New Saint Andrew's Theology and Letters program, graduating with his M.A. with high honors in 2021. He has been assisting in the teaching of classical languages at New Saint Andrews since 2020, starting as a Teaching Assistant for both the classical Latin and classical Greek programs, after which he was promoted to Reader of Classical Languages in 2021, and again to Lecturer of Classical Languages in 2023. He also served as the Head Librarian of New Saint Andrews from 2020 to 2023.  

He is the assistant editor or author of several Latin-source readers through Picta Dicta, including his first publication, Metamorphoses Ovidii: An Advanced Latin Reader. He and his wife, Veronica, have three young children.
