Pastor Joshua Appel

Mr. Appel is a teaching Fellow whose areas of interest include theology, philosophy, aesthetics, and food and culture. Mr. Appel joined the College faculty in 2004. He received his M.A. in Christian Thought at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. He also took graduate courses in philosophy at Gonzaga University, Spokane, WA, in fall 2001. He received his B.A. in Liberal Arts and Culture, Summa Cum Laude, from New Saint Andrews College in May 2001. Mr. Appel is the author of a companion study guide entitled Peter Leithart’s A House for My Name: Questions and Answers (Canon Press, 2010). In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Mr. Appel is the pastor of Trinity Reformed Church in Moscow. Mr. Appel and wife Sara (Ramsey) (B.A., 2004), have seven children.
