Lecturer of Classical Languages

Rachel Sebourn

Miss Sebourn teaches classical Greek and Latin. After graduating from New Saint Andrews College in 2016 and gaining some teaching experience, she continued her studies in Classics under Drs. Tunberg and Minkova in their immersive program at the University of Kentucky. She joined the classical languages faculty at New Saint Andrews in 2021, taking over ancient Greek and teaching some sophomore Latin courses. She enjoys continuing her pursuit of spoken ancient Greek with classmates from all over the globe in courses offered by the Polis Institute and its friends and connecting with other spoken ancient Greek enthusiasts through in-person summer courses in Greece.
