Toby J. Sumpter graduated with a BA from New Saint Andrews College and then earned an MATS from Erskine Theological Seminary before being ordained as a minister in 2007. He serves as Senior Pastor at King's Cross Church in Moscow, Idaho, and is one of the hosts of CrossPolitic Show & Podcast. His most recent book is No Mere Mortals: Marriage for People Who Will Live Forever. He has also authored the commentary Job Through New Eyes: A Son for Glory, the non-fiction Blood Bought World, as well as produced the updated and annotated The Elfin Knight: Book II of Edmund Spenser’s Faerie Queene. He is married to Jenny and has four children in Moscow.
