Called Conference 2025 – Coming of Age in the Trump Era
This year, the Called Conference hit record-breaking attendance, welcoming 160 students each of the two weeks. Students participated in a full schedule of workshops, hymns, plenary sessions, Bible studies, and field day games alongside their brightly colored teammates. This year’s conference theme was “Coming of Age in the Trump Era,” led by our returning keynote speaker from 2021, Pastor Douglas Wilson. Throughout the week, our speakers walked through the foundations of Biblical worldview thinking, cultural leadership, and spiritual warfare.
Campers would gather with their team leads in the dorm courtyards each evening to discuss the talks from earlier that day. In addition to the wisdom gained from New Saint Andrews faculty in the plenary sessions and workshops, each team was mentored by NSA students or alumni. Through the guidance of their team leads, students were challenged not to settle for head knowledge alone, but to boldly live out their faith in every area of life.

Our busy conference schedule is balanced with daily high-energy competitions, including camp classics like bumper soccer and drama night, and various new challenges, like the egg drop competition. Thanks to the help of our local fire department, blindfolded builders constructed protective capsules for their eggs, which were dropped from around 30 feet off the fire truck ladder. For many students, Called Conference is the highlight of the summer, and this year was no exception.
If you missed out on attending the Called Conference this year, we would love to have you register for next year. You can sign up here to be notified when registration opens (around December 1st). If you attended the Called Conference this year and think NSA might be a good fit for you, one of our admissions counselors would be happy to chat with you about making that a reality. Finally, if you’re considering NSA, we highly recommend trying to visit the college while school is in session; you can find our Preview Visit Days schedule here.
