August 11: Conservatory of Music Concert

Friday, August 11, 3:30 pm

Trinity Reformed Church (101 E Palouse River Dr) 

NSA Conservatory of Music Concert entitled “Play Skillfully, Sing With Understanding.”

The concert will feature music highlighting historic music training programs from ancient Hebrew Singing Villages, The Roman Schola Cantorum, The German-Lutheran Lateinschule, The Huguenots Psalter, the early American Singing Schools, and the Hungarian Kodaly method.

August 12: Convocation

Pre-ceremony book signing at 9 am 

Formal ceremony at 10 am 

The Convocation Ceremony is the official start to the academic year, and all matriculating incoming students will sign NSA's Book during the ceremony, pledging their commitment to the mission and vision of the college. 

August 14: Jerusalem Term Begins

Students start the first term of the year. 

August 18: Presidential Address at Disputatio

Dr. Ben Merkle addresses the college.

September 1: NSA Lectureship Timon Cline

Every year, New Saint Andrews College hosts an academic lectureship. Timon ClineT will deliver the lectureship series for 2023-2024 and will be speaking on "New Wineskins for Old Wine: Protestant Political Theology and the Recovery of the Classical Legal Tradition."

Timon is a graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary (M.A.R.) and Rutgers Law School (J.D.). He currently serves as a deputy attorney general in the Office of the New Jersey Attorney General, Division of Law, is the associate editor of American Reformer, and is a research fellow at the Craig Center at Westminster Theological Seminary. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Rachel, and son, Winthrop.

Timon will deliver four lectures over the academic year at Disputatio, a college-wide gathering that takes place on Friday afternoons.
